The 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon will take place on Sunday, October 3. It is a little early to predict just how it will look, with a lot of factors depending on what progress the country has made with a vaccine by then.
The London Marathon is the charity’s biggest fundraising event of the year, therefore it is important for us to raise as much as possible to enable us to keep up the good work, especially during these difficult times.
Your support is vital to the ongoing research and service that we provide at BackCare to so many people who suffer daily with back and neck pain. Any help and support you can give will be greatly appreciated

Well done to all of our runners that braved the rain to compete in the virtual 2020 event. Due to Covid-19 things were very different. There were elite races that took place on an enclosed looped course in St James’s Park in a secure biosphere, with everyone else, including our runners taking part in The 40th Race by running the famous 26.2 mile marathon distance virtually from anywhere in the world.
You can still support our runners and help them reach their fundraising targets. You can donate to a specific runner by visiting their fundraising page [below] or donate directly to the charity via our website.
Carl Bailey, Nicola Brammer, Michelle Carr, Rosemary Copsey, Jonathan Crocker, Andrew Garratt, Mary Hockenhull, Zoe Hughes, Paul Jones, Kate Lancefield, Sarah Millington, Jane Morgan, Richard Potter, Paul Roberts, Hamedah Shkokani, Vida Spiller, Amanda Waters
