My name is Dorian Haci and I’m a researcher in medical technologies at Imperial College London.
At our research centre we are currently working on a new project that aims to develop a monitoring device to track daily posture and body activity of people suffering from back pain, mainly while working in front of a computer. The recent pandemic situation has increased the number of people working from home sitting at a desk and we believe this may cause a surge in people suffering from back pain due to incorrect sitting posture.
Are you currently suffering from back pain or have you suffered in the past?
We want to speak to as many people as possible about their daily activity and their current solutions for preventing and managing their back pain. This will really help us understand if and how the technology we are developing could fit into people’s life and allow us to create something helpful to people.
More information about the project can be found at the following link (from the website of the programme that is currently funding our project): https://medtechsuperconnector.com/ventures/dorian-haci/
